Vehicle Guidelines
Guidelines for Motor Vehicles, Commercial Vehicles, Boats, Trailers and Recreational Vehicles within Surrey Park
These guidelines have been approved by the Board of Directors of the Civic Association of Surrey Park so that homeowners and residents are aware of the expectations so they can comply with Surrey Park’s deed restrictions. Such guidelines may be stricter than NCC code requirements. Prior violations do not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce deed restrictions.
- Personal vehicle parking is only permitted in paved driveways, garages, or streets (although street parking is discouraged during overnight for safety and aesthetic reasons, and during the winter at all times when snowplows are expected)
- No commercial vehicle shall be parked on a street or driveway except at an active worksite.
- Inoperable and/or unregistered vehicles shall only be parked in a garage.
- Boats, trailers, and recreational vehicles shall not be parked or stored in any driveway or street in Surrey Park. In order to facilitate loading and unloading, a homeowner or resident may park in front of the home or in the driveway for 72 consecutive hours.
- If any visitor to a homeowner or resident wants to park a recreational vehicle or motorhome in the host’s driveway, the homeowner must seek prior written approval from the Board of Directors, and comply with any relevant permitting requirements from NCC, if applicable.
